Walls are thin. You can hear the rooms nextdoor which is a bummer. Decor is dated and a little dingy. Our room was next to the trash outside and there was trash on the ground around it and trash in the dirt in front by the door so that was an eye soar. Service was friendly. It's a block or two away from the beach so that is nice and convenient. Blankets provided in the cabinet were scratchy and rough material and not soft .

This place is adorable. We are in one of the cottages, very cute and clean with a nice fire pit outside.

It's a cute place with great potential, but there are some simple things that could make a stay MUCH nicer. Please upgrade the pillows. The pillows were small, flat, and pointless. My neck was very unhappy after two nights. Please provide a fan of some sort... it could be wall mounted, tower, pedestal ... any kind of fan. We stayed during a warm spell, but even with all windows open the air was stagnant and the room was stuffy. Even if it was cold out, having something to just move the air would be helpful, as well as creating white noise to block the outside noises while windows are open. And while it wasn't the fault of the hotel, we did have a group of people at the fire pit (with no fire turned on) drunkenly talking loudly at 1:30 am... when my husband finally went out there to talk to them about it (since no one else did) they were belligerent and told us we were "lucky they didn't have a boom box." So that was fun. They did go away but came back shortly after to make a point for us even though we explained the rooms were hot so EVERYONE has their windows open to try to catch a breeze. So we used a phone as a white noise machine and it helped. As I said, it's a cute place and it has a lot of potential. But the pillows and the lack of air made it uncomfortable, and it's too expensive to be uncomfortable for such simple reasons.

Cute little cottage, pleasant vibe, clean. Big fire pit and designated smoking area outdoors. Close to scenic spots & landmarks, monarch preserve, short drive to cannery row. Would definitely stay again.
