Oysters are not fresh. Regardless of the variety, they should smell sea-breezy and sweet. These smelled fishy and the taste was awful. They were shucked badly, punctured the meat of the oyster so the liquor wasn’t clear and the grit was left. It looked like they were Caper’s Blade, although the variety wasn’t listed. We should have asked, but slipped our mind. Capers blades should be sweet, with a slight salinity. These just taste like metallic garbage. Don’t bother ordering and it may even be dangerous to do so depending on how old these are…. Im sure there’s other items that are fine, it’s hard to mess up fried food. Perhaps the oysters were too niche an ask but oysters can be gotten very fresh even in the middle of the US because they will stay alive for awhile out of water.

They have very good food at competitive prices. Everything is fresh and cooked properly. Staff are friendly and provide good service. It would be well worth your time to check them out if you are in the area. I would recommend

Clam chowder soup was one of my favorite too. Too bad I don’t live here or I would happily return here to eat quite frequently. Keep up the good work guys…quality food with quality service!!!!
