If I could give my experience 0 stars I would. I called asked about the specific location of non resident permit parking for metro north. I called the Clerk’s Office this evening. The woman I spoke to never said her name so I’m not sure who I spoke to. I don’t have great service where I live and she was very annoyed about that, kept mumbling “oh my god”. I said I just purchased a permit this weekend after being on the waitlist for 8 months. She said we don’t sell metro north permits. I said I was able to buy a “non resident metro north lot” pass from the City of Peekskill website, she dismissed me. When I said I wasn’t exactly where the lot was she laughed and said “you purchased a permit and you don’t even know where the right lot is? I don’t even know how to begin to explain it to you, you’ll have to find it yourself.” Thanks for nothing.

Quiet and empty where I was

Called the assessors office and introduced myself as a veteran interested in buying a house in town and was trying to get an understanding of veterans credits available. After a few basic general questions I was literally laughed at. Very RUDE. I understand why people are moving to Florida in droves!

I rushed 2 get back 2 town not realizing they change their normal hours 4 summer hours. I logged on2 the web page 2 verify hours n it still states 9am-5pm but when u show up their signs on their doors say 8:30am-4:00pm. When changing hours it should also b changed on the web cause that’s where most ppls go 2 check things out. So very upset that I lost hours at work 2 actually do something that needed 2 b done 2 not being able 2 do, cause they changed hours 4 the summer.
