After I finished all of my medical treatment Mr. Cohen was able to settle my case and get me back on even footing. COVID made things rough and my accident made things rougher. Getting a settlement came at a great time when I could finally go back to work and earn a living.

Questions & Answers

Can I change to a different attorney if I have already hired one?

Nadrich & Cohen Accident Injury Lawyers | Sep 4, 2022
Nadrich & Cohen Accident Injury Lawyers | Sep 4, 2022

Yes, you can change to a different attorney if you already hired one. Changing to a different attorney will not cost you anything extra, even in the middle of your case. We will pay any money your former lawyer is owed, but this will not negatively affect the money you receive in any settlement or court judgment. You won’t receive any less money by changing attorneys and hiring us, but you might receive more money if you clearly hired the wrong lawyer to begin with.

Almost all personal injury settlements are ultimately paid out by an insurance company, not the actual party who injured you, so you likely won’t be hurting anyone by filing a claim. Filing a claim is the only way you will be able to be fully compensated for your medical bills, lost wages, pain, suffering and more.

Nadrich & Cohen Accident Injury Lawyers | Sep 4, 2022
Nadrich & Cohen Accident Injury Lawyers | Sep 4, 2022

You may still be eligible for financial compensation in a car accident claim even if you were partially at fault for your accident. California is a pure comparative negligence state. This means that if you are judged to be 20 percent at fault for an accident, the compensation you can recover at the end of your case will simply be reduced by 20 percent. It is important that you contact experienced car accident lawyers like Nadrich & Cohen if you’re partly at fault for an accident so we can reduce the amount of fault you’re assigned for an accident as much as possible in order to maximize your financial recovery.

What should I do after a car accident?

Nadrich & Cohen Accident Injury Lawyers | Sep 4, 2022

Contact 911 or the police after an accident, as police reports can be important evidence when it comes time to obtain a settlement from an insurance company. Gather evidence after an accident, such as eyewitness contact information, photographs of the accident scene, and contact and insurance information of any other drivers involved. Obtain medical attention as soon as possible after an accident, since insurance companies can claim something else caused your injuries if you wait too long to get your injuries medically documented. Avoid talking to the other driver’s insurance company after an accident, since insurance adjusters are experts at getting you to say things they can use to pay you less. Contact experienced car lawyers like Nadrich & Cohen so we can handle all communications with insurance companies for you and obtain for you the financial compensation you deserve for your injuries
