Cashier/employees lack of common sense and kindness. I’ve been up since 5am. I need to supervise concrete pump work schedule for first thing in the morning. I could not break away to have a decent cup of coffee nor something to eat. By the time I could break away, I was not able to put my order in person before 10:00 AM for a bagel sandwich. Although I had to wait for the person before me placing an order, by the time I got to the front it was 10:03 AM and I was turned down for a sandwich, although, again, the person before me put her order through, which I could be wrong but it also included a sandwich. Common sense and decency dictates kindness and understanding due to any circumstances. The guy gave a lame excuse about pans, bla bla...so they could not fulfill the order. Kindness and empathy come from the heart. Unable to read the situation led me to believe that they don’t care about servicing customers nor encouraging more business, especially from local people. Now, I can see why the place is mostly empty. Unfortunately, I don’t think will stop by the place again. Previous owner, years ago at least made an effort to keep customers happy. These millennials can care less. It’s sad that businesses feel they can control the narrative, especially when there is a price. Lastly, not even an apology for any inconvenience issued at all. 👎👎👎👎

Super friendly staff and owner, excellent iced chai latte. The ham and cheese pastry is my favourite. Such a cheerful vibe. Very welcoming and clean. I’m visiting from away and have been coming here frequently. I love this place!!

Our staff wear gloves anytime they are handing food, making drinks/coffee, or at the register. The register is wiped down after each customer touches it. Additionally, any items customers may touch while ordering are separated and are sanitized before the next use. Aprons will be kept in your lockers and are not to be communal. After every shift, please put your apron in the dirty laundry hamper so that it can be washed. We also stagger spraying surfaces with virucide and hand washing on rotation every 30 minutes to ensure our personal health and safety. We spray the bathroom, door handles, and counter areas. These things may slow our service down a bit. Our number one priority is the health and safety of everyone.
Dogs are allowed in certain areas. Please ask our baristas where dogs are/aren't allowed.
