Mount Vernon Memorial Park is and has been fabulous for decades. We have three family members interred here, most recently 2022 and dating back to 1968. Their work ethic and guiding principles are enduring and executed with the utmost respect for you and your loved ones - true professionals. In our most recent loss of a beloved family member, Ashley and Jaymie ensured every aspect of my detailed requests for both a visitation and inurnment were handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. I cannot thank them enough for there painstaking efforts, accessibility, even after hours, as i live out of state/2 hour time difference, and respect they gave to our loved one and our family. I received rave reviews from attendees of the visitation. Thank you, Mt. Vernon!!!

One star review and they know it. What is sad is it wasn't the current owners fault, however they did not correct it or even offer to correct it and then made it worse. In a nutshell. Moms prepaid plot was sold out from under her many years ago. the people at the time made her sign a new contract to be cremated and inurned with her husband in the court of honor. After working with a laywer there was no resolve and mom died from the vaccine. There is a backlog of deaths becuase of this. Everything went wrong from there. EVERYTHING. it was the most horrific time of my life and I have to live with this forever and it is alot to bear. They could have made it right but instead they opted to make it worse and drag it out for 2 months and made us pay more even though EVERYTHING WAS PREPAID. Yes its a nice place, yes they have nice people. But this is the end. Now mid October for her headstone. They will not correct mistakes from the past. If you have a prepaied account CHECK IT!! If your getting a prepaid account cross your Ts and dot your I's and take a laywer. I am so sorry mom. You should have had a dignified funeral and I failed. God Help me.

Very pleasant to walk in...staff was on point. Can't ask for more...secretary was very polite and friendly..I just went there for an interview and the 2 interviewers where very nice. I'm sure the whole staff is pleasant to be around....very nice place!

This cemetery is producing an awful noise to the community that they will do nothing about. They say it is a temporary freezer but that has been being told to us since February. It runs 24/7 and is affecting our sleep and daily lives. We have called numerous times without resolution. Next steps will be taken.

Good question. Im not sure myself. I'm in the process of trying to find out if my grandparents lots are military or family own. I say this because the cemetery wouldn't allow me to take the veterans flower vase to get it engraved but allowed to take the spouses vase to be engraved at a place of my families choice and the cemetery provided me with a brand new shiny bronze vase. Michelle who deals with families concerns like so was very helpful so call up there an ask for her. Hope that help.🙃
Graveside only, no more more then 50 people can attend due to the virus. Also had to wait over 10 days for burial even with arrangements already in place.

It's a BS answer... they would never stop me from seeing my family there! We own the plot(property). If they want to disrespect a person and TRY to keep them from going into the court if honor. That's BS!

Hello Kathy, As long as there is enough space and the garden allows for multiple placements. Best to make an appointment on something like this as there are different requirements depending on the garden that was selected in the cemetery.
