I write this poor review not solely for the project delays, but for the extreme deficits in planning and communication exhibited by this company. The dig for our pool was 8/25/2021. It is now July 2022 and we need electrical hookup, our firepit completed, and pebble in the pool. We are on to yet another new point of contact with Platinum, as everyone we met initially is no longer with the company. Project delays are understood, as we all know labor and materials are hard to come by right now. My issue is with communication and planning. We have currently been ghosted for weeks, with no response to our multiple emails, texts, phone calls and voicemails. Are they even still in business? I honestly don't know right now. There literally cannot be worse communication. As for planning, I have come to learn that the next step of the project is not considered until I personally call and inform them the prior step is completed and we need to move on. For example, we were told for months that we were waiting on pavers to come in stock. Multiple phone calls later, I finally reach Nataly who tells me that she will look in to ordering them that day. What?? Why weren't they ordered a year ago, 6 months ago, 3 months ago? Why did I have to call many times to force the issue? This happens as I watch my neighbors hire a new landscaper, and get their entire backyard covered in the same pavers I'm waiting for in 3 weeks time. This signaled to me that Platinum has some major problems. Hopefully in writing this review I will be contacted by someone with the company, get word they are in fact still in business, and maybe even get an update on my pool.

Ok we're in process so I'm hoping I can change this review by the time we're done but just in case you're considering this company...and for full transparency, I am a business coach so my expectations are a little higher than normal. I try really hard to balance realistic expectations with the way the industries are right now. Our sales guy, Paul Martin was the reason why we went with Platinum. He was honest, over-communicated and was extremely attentive to our needs. I was so impressed with him, I scheduled appointments with our neighbors to meet him. We live in Sterling Grove and the amount of business in here is incredible. But, here's the problem - when you get to the actual project management team, there are significant issues with communication. And communication has nothing to do with the issues at hand right now with the shortages, etc.

We were so excited in the beginning purchasing a home with a pool. This entire process has been a nightmare. Our pool was supposed to be completed by March and we are now entering May 2022. I agree with the other reviews, if this was not purchased with our mortgage I would have released this company a while ago. Communication is very poor! A date is given for next installation process and NO SHOW !

Unfortunately we can only echo the previous poor reviews, and essentially for the same reasons. Richmond Home buyers here too. Other neighbors of ours have designed, ordered and built their pools with competitors of Platinum and have been swimming for months already. In fact, 2 neighbors had entire projects completed in less time than it took Platinum to dig a hole in our yard. 11 months now and we still don’t have the correct equipment, final electric or Pebbletech. It took 10 months to build our entire house!!!!!! Completely baffled how this place can still be in business honestly. Ill update this when we are finished.
