The experience at this establishment was not so great. The food was just ok. The palmetto location has much better tasting food. Our pizza was cut in some weird curvy square pattern. In the picture you can see every dish that came to the table was still on the table and we had just paid the bill. Not a good look for the establishment. I forgot to mention that the server rushed us to order drinks but didn’t once come back to ask us if we wanted another the whole time we were there.

Very much enjoyed the Italian beef sandwich dipped in au jus.visited joey D's twice during my stay in Sarasota and definitely recommend it! Loved it so much I forgot to take pics of the sandwich

This is such a great place! My family is from Chicago and the deep dish was spot on! Exactly like home. The staff is friendly and informative. We will be returning! It could be a little confusing to get to because of how the streets are set up. But it is not hard to find and it is worth it.

They allow indoor dining. Social distancing. Face mask required. They sanitized tables before and after guest. Hand sanitizer stations throughout restaurant.

That's a great question! Their menu online doesn't lead you to believe they have gluten free, but in the restaurant I do recall seeing a gluten free pizza option.
Order the pizza well done as my waitress suggested and you'll never get one a bit soggy in the center. Their pizza is the best I've had in Sarasota.
