Horrible customer service. Rude doesn't help the low income disabled vets. No paymemt arrangements. Takes people out of care program and was not even people's fault. Irs fault. Merced needs another power company. PGE works with people this company is money hungry! I hope the federal company does an investigation on this corrupt company!

25 dollars in customer services charges and 11.50 in power cost adjustments plus tax total of 44.00 per month when the electric usage is only 54 dollars that s a rip off

We have to pay this stupid fee... $112.80 yearly. Ms Mercedez said..." we have to pay the fee regardless"... even though we have well water and use septic system. The Merced county is hungry for money... beyond the tax money.....

This is an extremely corrupt organization. They claim it to be a "public utility" and non-profit, but it's all about profits to them. They have a government body that's made up by self-serving corrupt individuals. All in it to rip off "customers". They impose the bogus charge called "Customer Service Fee", which has seen a 700% increase over the past several years. It went from 0$ to now close to $30! This means even if you use 0 kW of electricity, you'd still have a bill that is more than $30! On top of all that, they provide a rather unreliable service with more frequent blackout than cities of the same size in California. Their billing system is handled by an unreliable third-party outfit. Don't move into the section of the city that falls under MID's service area.

Start by calling the office and inquire to check if your parcel is within the mid boundary.
An electrician or handyman. You can also reset the fault on GFCI breaker outlet.
Call the city hall for street service department.
If you're talking about tap water, it should be City of Merced. MID sells irrigation water and power.
