Usually the drive thru is quick however today was terribly slow. I sat in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes before being assisted which resulted in only getting half of what needed done to avoid being late to work. Ridiculous

Diane Davis | Sep 26, 2019

Great question. Routing numbers are the same for everyone at our financial institution. Each institution has their own to identify themselves. Ours can be found on our website, on the bottom of the page. Hope this helps, have a great weekend.

You will need to request one via phone, or in person and complete some forms. You can find a change of address form on the website.

What is a person ID number?

Rhonda Banks | Sep 25, 2021
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 25, 2021

I am not sure what you're referencing, a Personal Identification Number, or a Personal ID Number? This could relate to a passcode, or password related to the select device, login, or card. If you've forgotten this passcode or PIN then we can reset you by contacting us during normal business hours, 713-755-5160 or via messaging through online banking.

Do you offer shared branching?

Jennifer Russo | Sep 25, 2020
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 25, 2020

We participate in the Co-Op Shared Branching, where our HCFCU members can visit other credit unions nationwide. We, however, do not offer co-op shared branching services for outside members to deposit or withdrawal. - Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with today.

We have a number of Shared Branch locations you can visit to conduct basic transactions. If you follow this link, https://hcfcu.com/about-hcfcu/locations/shared-branches/, it will take you to a site that will allow you to search for the nearest shared branch to you. That information is also available on our mobile app, which is available under "Harris County FCU" in the Apple app store or the Google Play store. If you need anything else, please reach out to us through our website or give us a call, 713-755-5160.

Have the October 2019 statements been mailed? Today is November 15 and I have not received it yet.

Sandra Harrison | Sep 25, 2020
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 25, 2020

Ms. Harrison, please contact us, we have multiple reasons why you would not have received it yet. 1) if your account doesn't have much activity it could cause you to receive only quarterly statements. 2) if your address on file is wrong or changed that could be another reason. Please contact Member Services at 713-755-5160.

Can a Retirey Borrow from the credit union?

Vernon Boswell | Sep 26, 2019
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 26, 2019

Great question! Yes, a source of income is necessary for all lending. So you can provide bank statements or statements from the source of the income. If you're not currently a member, well, retired employees are eligible for membership!

I locked myself out of my online banking can I get my password reset without them being open

Angela Scott | Sep 26, 2019
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 26, 2019

Unfortunetly at this time, once your account is locked it is not possible to unlock it without the credit union being opened. It is important that you go through the "Forgot Password" prompts before your account is locked.

What all do I need to open an account?

Nathan criswell | Sep 26, 2018
Harris County Federal Credit Union | Sep 26, 2018

If you are wishing to establish a membership, first you must meet membership requirements. When you come to open the membership, you will need your driver's license or government issued ID with the correct mailing address, if not, a secondary form of ID to verify your address like a pay stub and it takes just $5 to begin.
