Amazing place and Amazing people

Workers were incredibly nice and helpful. Place was clean and many sweet cats around to pet while doing paperwork or talking with the workers. Took some Feral Kittens off my hands and I know they'll be taken care of and find their perfect forever homes!

Great people.

We do take in strays! Stop by anytime to see if your kitty may have stopped by the shelter.
I just found out as of this morning that I'm an employee for pet haven now. And I and my roomate are fosters for pet haven as well. How many cats are you looking to have fostered, age range, do they get along with adult cats and kittens. Own adults and foster kittens currently.
Pet Haven only has cats and kittens
You have to drive there And they can help you. They can help in some small things. But they mostly do spay and neuters.
I work here and last I checked we were pretty full. We do get adoptions which makes more room available for new cats to find a home but definitely call and ask if we have any kennels available. I will ask my boss really quick if any room is available. Just talked to my boss and she says if he or she is already spayed or neutered then yes we can help you out. Call ahead and ask for Jeanette.
$45 spay and $25 neuter.
Last I checked they didn't, however they are closed for a renovation. Best to just call
I have access to two sets of four kittens. If anyone’s looking please call me at 8660124
If you have stray cats, there are a few options: If the cat is wild (as in you are unable to pick it up): Best course of action is to schedule a spay/neuter appointment, trap the cat, get the cat fixed, and release it back outside. That way, they can keep away any extra cats from entering a property. If the cat is friendly: -First and foremost: A lot of owned cats go missing due to neighbors believing a stray cat is without a home, so make sure the cat is not an outdoor cat owned by any neighbors. -If you are certain the cat is unhoused: Call Pet Haven's number and ask what our intake process looks like. Usually we tend to vaccinate cats and intake them 14 days after vaccination to prevent the spread of disease within the shelter. Regardless, feel free to call us for any further questions and we will help as much as we are able to.
I think they have volunteers rn. But things can always change. Give them a call next week if they don't respond and see what they say.
When I was there they accepted a couple. Pretty sure they receive them
Call them; its very reasonable, but you need to call to see when they can do it.
Yes, to adopt or to surrender cats and kittens, we do require people above the age of 18 to fill out paperwork.
Lisa, I'm glad you asked. We are currently working on updating our photo gallery. However to see the cats available it is best to come into the shelter. Most cats do not stay in the shelter very long. It changes daily. So what you see today may not be there tomorrow. Please come check them out for your self. DeeDee
We are allowing walk-ins, we just require masks when you come in.
That I do not know I would call and ask
The kittens are 50 and the others vary if memory serves
I believe so so. But I would always call.
You are always welcome to call us or stop by and check on if there is room available, however depending on the age of the cat it may not do well in a new environment. Some of our senior cats who have been brought in before have been known to get depressed or not eat due to the stresses of a new environment.
It usually happens on Thursdays when we have a vet there. Make sure you schedule ahead of time or you can call Tuesday through Saturday to make an appointment.
No, I work here and we only euthanize very sick cats who otherwise would be suffering. We treat cats that are sick unless we absolutely need to take other actions. We have a 8 year old cat named sammy who just hangs out here and we let him do his own thing around the shelter but he's available for adoption. Very affectionate and a fatty when it comes to food but he's been around for a few months now and we love having him. Hoping he finds a good home soon.
The owner surrender fee is $25 per cat. Please call first to make sure they have space and that the cats are good candidates for the shelter.
Annabella, we do not have any openings at this time. If you want, you can drop off an application or a resume at the shelter for future consideration. You would need to be at least 18 years old.
Yes, we will take her. Since she isnt yours its only a $10 surrender fee.
Also, you can come in anytime when they are open. We always accept volunteers to help out with the kitties!
The fee for a kitten is 50$
I have volunteered my time to go play with the kitties, clean out their cages if needed, fill food and water dishes as needed, etc. Very fun place to be if you love cats and kittens.🐱
There is a page on Facebook called LOST & FOUND Pets NAMPA Idaho. The group is designed to help pet owners find their furry friends. I would encourage you to post on page with description and photo of kitty (if you have one).
I read in an article something similar to what you are asking. Only it was a dogs nose, and it turned out to be a porcupine quill went up his nose and into his sinus. I'm not saying that's what it is. But it could be something up there that is causing it. Your vet will be the best bet.
Pet Haven is a great place for cats and kittens to be while finding a home. I'm not sure of their fees to drop them off, but they are a humane society so I would guess that if there was a fee it wouldn't be much.
Only cats at pet haven
They almost always have kittens
