They've been a hometown favorite forever but that ends today. Since when is it a patron's responsibility for a restaurant to make their food properly? I live an hour away and a "manager" tells me he not only cant...but wont make it right. You give me the wrong food AND you overcharge me when I gave a tip to your dusty establishment? Shameful. But that's cool. I already got my money back from the bank :)

New to the area and went here thinking they might have gravy fries. Upon entering I was delighted to see not only did they serve them but their tshirts say #gravyfries. Sadly, what got was lukewarm fries with overly peppered gravy. I asked if it was possible for them to cook fresh hot fries and was given a quizzical look but she agreed. She came back in literally 30 seconds with what was obviously microwaved fries and gravy. Disappointing and, although the service was friendly and the rest of the meal was what you would expect from a local owned diner, it wasn’t good enough to entice me to go back.

I called in an order that added up to $31 and some change. I repeated my order several times the young lady who took my order also repeated it back to me. When I picked up my order they asked what I had I told them and they handed me my order. When I got home on the other side of town I opened one of my boxes and where I had ordered double gravy fries with no coleslaw, they gave me a single order of fries no coleslaw and no gravy. I called and they told me to bring it back and they'd replace it. When I took it back the manager Chris took the box with my sandwich and fries back he did not throw it out and replace the order with fresh food...he just added fries on top of the old ones and put a little bit of gravy on top. He then returned my food to me in the same box on the same plate. Gas is too high to have to return food and still get bad service. Do not plan on returning and I will continue to share my experience with other forums.

Good food and great service. This is the only place in the south that I’ve found that offers a side of gravy to go with you fries. Can’t wait to go back.
