we always stopped here on our trips from NY-NC and it was always clean! the bathrooms did smell pretty strongly of bleach, but the smell of bleach was heavenly compared to some of the other rest areas we'd been to. and the bathrooms may be old, but the stalls aren't directly next to each other! they're like private little cubicles. also, the whole rest area is surrounded by giant evergreen trees. it's a lovely place for a quick break from the highways and gas stations.

The rest area is closed to tractor trailers due to lack of space. There is a small section of pull through parking suitable for large RVs and vehicles pulling trailers that can accommodate up to 3 spaces depending on the size.
No. The restrooms and the rest area close at 8 pm in the summer and 6 pm in the winter.
