I've been shopping for a family of 5 at this store almost everyday for at least 10 years ... I bought a Google card from them and the numbers were all faint , unreadable,and damaged... I came to customer service to request a new card (I'm not extremely happy but not mad either,pennies compared to what I spend here) and was met with a woman named Roxanne ... who was snappy ,rude ,disrespectful, confrontational and completely out of line ... She refused to exchange for a new one ,due to it being a gift card(my reasonable argument was the card itself was damaged),told me I was out 25 dollars and had an attitude that was uncalled for ,in front of other customers and my 9 year old son.. she continued to antagonise me and laugh with her friend and go out of her way to be rude, and started slamming doors and being disrespectful to me and literally going out of her way to have a confrontation with me when asked to see a manager, instead of being customer oriented and helping me... she continued to literally smirk at me and called someone to come deal with me before she has me removed... I couldn't believe that this is My stores customer service! Personally I would have fired anyone working for me who treated customers this way... completely unprofessional and uncalled for... I'm almost sure that they will do nothing but laugh about it in break room . because of Roxanne, I will be taking most of my business elsewhere... I spend aloooooooott of money in this store and now I think I'll spend it elsewhere... to bad customer service has gone to crud ... whether I'm a disgruntled customer or not ,it's not your job to put me in check but to try and make me a happy customer so i return and spend my money... EPIC FAIL! Will be writing a complaint and hand delivering it to someone who matters and will do somethingabout it... no customer should EVER have to be treated this way by customer service ... ROXANNE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SHAME ON YOU...Dave came over and was completely professional and customer service oriented and had apologizedfor her behavior... Obviously Roxanne needs to take a class on customer service and respect and learn how to deal with CUSTOMERS...I work hard for my money to be treated like garbage by the place I choose to spend it.... or to be told I have to deal with losing money' due to selling bad and damaged products... It wasn't worth losing a loyal customer over.... Issue is still unresolved and I've lost 25 dollars due to damaged products... and on top of it to add salt to the wound I had to have a terrible experience with the store I've used a long time....I'm sure Google trained their employees to have better customer service, hopefully they'll have integrity where Fred Meyer did not...

The Kroger takeover was not a good thing. Same employees and I believe they do their best, but they when they remodeled the store they also discontinued a lot of items. They used to have a large section dedicated to natural and organic items of all kinds. When they remodeled they said they “began stocking them in the same location as the non organic/natural items”. What they really did was discontinue most of them. Almost nothing in the travel/trial sizes, almost no snacks, lots less bulk foods of any kind. And their clothing prices are so high that even the sales aren’t competitive, or many times even affordable. What used to be a one stop shop is now trying to be a one size fits all, which means that one size really doesn’t fit anyone very well.

Long time customer and still will be, but the App is junk. Can't take advantage of digital coupons or use it in the store. Doesn't even work. Junk. Here it comes..."they can put a man on the moon, but Freds can't make a functional app?"

They always have the freshest produce and all around great quality food. The next best place to whole food stores. Great skin, hair and body products and cute clothes and shoes usually as well. A bit overpriced in the household area though.

Interesting, I've seen butt dials and butt texts, haven't seen butt typed Google maps questions though...

Fred Meyer corporate employees are some of the biggest crooks you'll ever find. When Fred Meyer makes a mistake that costs you hundreds or thousands of dollars, they won't take responsibility. They screw up an order and leave us with damaged merchandise costing us many tens of thousands of dollars and they refuse to own up to their mistakes. Please don't shop at Fred Meyer. Don't support these crooks. There are other supermarkets that do treat their customers responsibly, kindly, and fairly. If you shop at Fred Meyer you are only supporting the bad guys that wrong customers and don't own up to their mistakes because all Fred Meyer and Kroger cares about is money. Dennis Gibson, Jeff Burt, and Lynn Gust, the presidents and leaders of Fred Meyer, and the rest of the corporate team at Fred Meyer are nothing, but crooks with no moral compass. They owe us a lot of money.

I would go anywhere other then feed Meyer's to spend money.
