Unfortunately there are no other weekly trash pickup services that I know of in this area. If there were, I would run to them. We have had several issues with Republic Service, both with billing issues and with refusal to pick up yard bags. We do not live in city limits, but Republic chooses to treat all customers the same. Instead of picking up yard bags, they leave them next to our garbage cans week after week. They have picked them up for years, but apparently changed their policy within the last year (probably due to COVID...) When I asked about the differnce between county and city customers, they simply replied that it is company policy. Why isn't there a difference between county and city? We have a large property and one garbage can won't hold all the yard waste. Were we even notified of this change? I never saw one. Please adjust your policy for diffrerent customers and their different situations.

This last Tuesday July 12th they did not pick up the recycle that I set out every other Monday evening. I pay for a service every 2 months with this company to remove my trash and my recyclable materials. I would like a company to do the job I'm paying for.

On the street with the wheels as close to the curb as possible. Opening of the garbage can should be facing away from the curb. Always on the opposite side of the driveway where the mailbox is, unless you have a fence or vehicle blocking that side. Just make sure your can(s) is 5 to 10 feet away from type of structure. Also, place cans 3 feet away from each other to allow room for the arms to slide around the cans. NEVER block the sidewalks as you are making a dangerous situation for children, elderly and people with disabilities by forcing them to leave the sidewalk and go out into the street.
Last week was free pick up for spring clean up piles.
