They were very helpful on my two visits. One time there was a bit if a line but they got threw everyone there quickly and efficiently. The employees are nice and knowledgeable. There is even about 10 or so computers there to help you do business if you do not own one yourself.

Go to the recorder's office in Ukiah and there are public use computers to look up what you are looking for and they will print copies.

The Mendocino County Clerk is entrusted with preserving documents from the time the county was created in 1850, until present. Prior to 1850, Mendocino County was attached to Sonoma County for judicial purposes.
