Dr Helmi is an unprofessional, heartless, incompetent, and horrible excuse for a doctor. She should have her license revoked. Run from this place

I am writing a 1 do to the office staff not the providers. I called them to schedule an initial appointment, the lady kept me on the line for 25 minutes gathering all my information just to call me back later to inform me that the doctor I was scheduled with is not accepting Bleu Cross Blue shield PPO (!?) and Dr Linder is not accepting new patients but she can schedule me in a month with a Nurse Practitioner after I have specifically asked her to be seen by an MD. I wasted so much time for nothing. I would not recommend.

I don't know about these other reviews but my experience with this practice has been very good. The diagnosis and medication I was put on at my first visit immediately started to help me, and every time I've had an appointment, Dr. Linder has listened to me and my concerns about my dosage based on my experience and hasn't forced me into any amount, instead giving me suggestions and seeing how I feel about them going forward, which has made me feel very in control of my situation, with the confidence of a trained professional's supportive guidance along the way to help me. There was a time I missed an appointment which I scheduled at the end of their work day. I was going through a rough time with my mental health do to some contributing life factors and as a result my sleep schedule was very affected (I have since increased my dosage and have more control over this, as long as I stay personally responsible with my sleep schedule). Dr. Linder made several attempts even after his office's hours to reach me to try and get my appointment in, even on his personal time. I still missed the appointment because I couldn't stay awake (which I still feel horrible about lol, I'm so sorry for this!), but his persistence in trying to work with me was greatly appreciated. I also understand I'm paying for what is years of study in a very important and knowledgeable profession, and when I miss an appointment, I'm essentially taking away time that could've gone to another patient that needs it, so I don't fault them for the expensive no-show fees (which is cost of the appointment itself, I believe, so it makes sense). The staff is always friendly to me and very helpful and understanding that I can only schedule appointments very infrequently (I pay out of pocket for their services so it's something I can't afford every month). I think the only thing I could criticize (I wouldn't even call it criticizing since it's fairly minor and not even their fault) is sometimes it's been hard to get my medications sent to my pharmacy. But that's only when I try to fill it through the pharmacy itself (Walmart pharmacy). Their requests never seem to make it to the office, but when I call Linder's office itself and request a refill, it always gets immediately sent to my pharmacy and filled quickly. Thank you for helping me to improve my life. The stabilization I've found through the medication has seriously been life-changing.

No. Lots of trouble with Linder on the accuracy of billing. Had to take Linder to court to get a fair shake, and the judge ruled that Linder must reimburse the overcharges and court costs. See public records this place has history.

How much does Linder Psychiatric Group, Inc. charge if an appointment is missed?

A whopping $214, or more. Even if the appointment itself would cost about $100, they will more than double the charge for missing it. I think they charge like that for taxes and write-offs. If you don't pay the $214, then they take a write-off and get money from the people. Shame on Linder.

If I call and leave them a voicemail on the weekend telling them to cancel a appointment because it is 72 hours before will they still cancel it???

They'll cancel your appointment. You'll pay through the nose for it if it isn't 72 BUSINESS hours. So if you're appointment is on a Tuesday, you'll get a 214 dollar charge. But if it's on Thursday, you should be OK. Well, you'll be OK as long as the front desk person of the week actually cancels it.
