It's a nice, quiet library. Most of the books I wanted weren't there, so I had to request them from other libraries. They did happen to have one of the books I was looking for, and it was easy to find. However, the interior of this library has not been updated in 40 years. It seems so lifeless and dull, and doesn't really inspire me to read. The only parking is parallel parking on the street. They seriously need to get their own parking lot. The people behind the counter act like they really don't want to be there. They don't say much to you when you check out. This place just seems so depressing, I wish it was as inviting as a bookstore, but Porterville doesn't have such a thing.

6 pm. Fri & Sat and 5pm Sunday. M- Th is usually close by 8 pm

they always have summer activities, I am unsure whether it will be on the website but I know for sure if you go you can get one of the calendars with all the activities on there.

It all depends on if you forget your own password or the pen code just ask the people in the front and they will give you the password
No food or drinks allowed they have signs on the door and I think inside also.
