I wish I could give -5 stars. My experience with Schoch Tile and Carpet was abysmal. They did the tile work and the carpet installation in my newly built Drees home. The tile was the first to have issues. First, the shower was not level when completed and had to be completely redone so the water would drain. Then we found peeling tiles after a month or so. They came and did a quick fix and called it a day. Less than a month later the tile began to peel again. They came back and this time put real effort into a repair. So far, things seem okay. Fingers crossed. Now, onto the carpet. They installed our carpet and did such a bad job with the edges that I could literally lift the carpet up with my hand and see the padding and the floor boards. They came FOUR separate times to “fix it.” The first time they said it was fixed and they’d done absolutely nothing. After several more failed attempts to correct the issue they decided to just replace the entire carpet. They sent an older gentleman to do the install. He was unable to move furniture or even carry the carpet inside — so I had to do most of the manual labor myself. He made sure to spend his time at my house blaming Drees, me, my dog, and whoever else he could think of for our issues. He finished up and left and I immediately had to call Drees because the carpet wasn’t nailed down and AGAIN could be lifted up to expose the floor board beneath. Someone else came to fix it again and shockingly they failed. The pictures below are after 6+ failed attempts to install a simple square piece of carpet. I wouldn’t recommend using this company unless you’ve got enough money set aside to pay court costs to try and get back some of the money you gave them to ruin your living room.

It took three trips to my home to install hardwood in a small kitchen and they still didn't get it right. And, despite telling me more than once that the installation manager would be in touch to discuss and view the finished job, I was never contacted again once I paid them. Poorly handled by sales (didn't order correct quantity), by installers (inconsistent gaps between boards and poor job with trim), and by office staff (failure to follow up on customer concerns).
