I was very pleased with Dr. Ash and the way the cataract surgery turned out. He is very pleasant and .makes you feel at ease.

Their wait time is absolutely unreasonable. It’s not fair when you make an appointment and you have to wait over an hour just to see a doctor. I get you have a to meet a certain number of patients per day but everyone has a busy life!

Questions & Answers

my eye had orzuelo or chalazion can you do something to cure the orzuelo

Use of warm compresses (heat applied 10 minutes, twice daily) to the lids along with routine lid hygiene (such as LidScrubs) helps relieve the chalazion. However if it persists to have it examined to make sure nothing bad is going on.

I get squiggles in my field of vision is this something I would see an ophthalmologist for?

Hi Amanda, Ophthalmic Migraines present typically with "squiggles" in one's vision with zig-zag like patterns that last anywhere from 5-30 minutes. The start smaller and get bigger. They are in both eyes and also visible with eyes closed. Headache may or may not present afterwards. These are self limited and likely not a major concern, but likely best to run by your primary care doctor. If needed, it can be evaluated by the ophthalmologist as well.
