Honestly, it was quite nice given how cheap the room was! Just for comparison, the Hotel 6 nextdoor was almost 2x the price. The room smelt sterilized with bleach, the blankets and towels were clean, and the room was a good size. What really made this place go from good to great was the staff, the AC, and the coffee. Everyone there was so nice and friendly, the AC worked wonderfully, and their morning coffee was delicious! Yes, compared to other places to stay it was a bit run down. However, for the price tag, I was blown away! If you need a cheap place to stay for the night, I highly recommend here!

The staff is great, will help with any problem you might have. The price is just right, plus everything works. Unlike another place down the street for about the same price. I and my family will definitely be going back.

Positive: I really appreciated the outstanding friendliness and customer service that Ted and his staff exhibited! They were more than happy and willing to accommodate us and any requests we had! Negative: There was no breakfast options but they do offer coffee etc... 24 hrs.

Travelling north on I-5 to North Cal tomorrow, researched motels from Bakersfield to Los Banos. Booked what looks like best deal by far with Cassandra who was extremely pleasant to talk to and after more than a dozen phone calls to other places, I am confident we found the best. Pool is open and room rate is only $65.71 after taxes on a Friday night. Will send another review after the trip,
