We’ve stayed in better places that were 2 star hotels. Almost $400 a night on a weekend for a shifty ac and the blinds were garbage with a light shining in from the parking lot all night. I know Tahoe is expensive, but I think paying $400 anywhere you expect a nicer place than this (maybe not and this is what $400 gets you in south lake)? The hot tub and pool were nice, and it’s not far from heavenly village (why we gave 2 stars) but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location and the front desk staff where amazing. Building is old, but the rooms where updated and location in South Lake Tahoe was great. Was given a room with a partial view and it was actually a really great view from the balcony on the 3rd floor - room 312. It's right off the main road and there is a lot of traffic noise but once you're inside and close the balcony slider door you don't hear the traffic. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Positive: Great location, comfortable bed, clean with a view of the lake. The hot tub was nice and had lots of room. There were some great dining options nearby and they were pet friendly with big nice dog areas. Negative: The tv did not have personal sign in options so you were stuck with the local options.

Can't wait to come back. It's only a 5-minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort parking lots. Discount with Epic Pass was appreciated. Rooms were super clean. Like new! Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Free parking! Pool and hot tub were clean. We walked to the lake, right across the lake to see the sunset behind Lake Tahoe. Look at the view from the large balcony!! 🤩

Lime scooters are a good way to see the shore, there's also the rental bikes, and two stop lights towards Stateline is the marina where you can see the south shore via paddle board or kayak.
Thank you for your question. Our front building, which we call the Lake Building, was built in 1976, the back building or Pool Building, was built in 1983. The property was originally called Inn by the Lake. Both buildings and all of our guest rooms were renovated at the end of 2016.
