The disc golf course itself is beautiful, but make sure not to keep anything valuable in your car while you are there. My car and several others were broken into and had their windows smashed. From reading previous reviews it seems like it is something that has been reoccurring here.

The disc course is in an interesting area of upper bidwell, that has vast views of the park's valley along the way. Theres alot of beautiful wild flowers in bloom right now and the disc course looks like is has had an update done with clearing stones that protruded out of the ground mostly. It looks like baskets got an update too and the trails are more direct to the plates. Be careful on windy days with the playing on thecourse because parts of the course is near the cliffs.

Great disc golf course in the middle of nowhere on the side of a highway to nowhere. Great views of the canyon and the valley. Played it 3 different times now and havent seen another golfer. The signage says the course is closed but its completely playable anyways.

Fire closed the course for a few months but is now open! In addition to that the Chico Outsiders have done amazing work out on the course by adding alternate pin positions and cleaning up the fairways by cutting most of the tall grass down

Why is the disc golf course say it’s closed? We drove up there at the end of January

Course closures are subject to rain. The city of Chico will close the course to help prevent erosion
