Beautiful hiking trails and campground. Campground fees are very affordable at $40/night, $5/electric. Tent or rv. Clean bathrooms and grounds in general. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this campground as a last resort while traveling and couldn’t find anything else convenient. There are no services. We are a 32’ 5th wheel and that was maxed out for the roadways and any of the sites. We managed to find one sort of/kind of level site that wasn’t a steep incline or decline, but it did require four 4’ lengths of 2x6 to level side to side. Ranger comes around to collect. $40 for non resident is pretty steep with no services. Quiet time seemed to be observed- this is a no alcohol campground, so perhaps that is why.

No, there is no swimming allowed in the water at Winding Hills.
Campsite is 25 a night non electric and 30 for electric. No monthly camping you can only stay 14 days and you have to leave and come back

Yes they have a dump station 35 dollars to dump. No water or sewer at the sites but 23 of the sites have electric service.
No you can not ride dirt bikes or ATVs. I believe during the winter you can ride snowmobiles on designated trails
