I have been shopping, at thrifty shopper, upper front st. location Since it’s opening. I find the staff are pleasant, the environment clean and prices still somewhat reasonable. I continue to shop there for two reasons. First, and foremost, because I have been told that a percentage of the proceeds go to the men’s shelter in Whitney Point NY, is that true? Secondly, because I come from humble beginnings, and don’t require new. My concern is this, as previously said, the prices are reasonable and all must understand Cost increase. However, please share how those in our community, that are truly in need, can continue to afford the continual increase in used merchandise. Someone at one time had the right idea, serving the need and helping others along the way. And then, I have to ask myself, is this still a mission? Please respond, as I’m saying, what many are thinking, but dare not ask. Have a blessed day!
