Being new to the area, seeing some reviews and social media postings - I decided to try this shop. Used the website to schedule an appointment, but did not hear back from anyone. I decided to call. Setting up an appointment over the phone was a seamless and courteous process. I was asked to come in to assess AC and repair needs/costs prior to my actual appointment date. Upon my arrival I was not greeted by anyone - despite eye contact made with those present. Tim, instead walked by me to alert someone in the office of my presence. I actually had time to set up my work laptop and mobile hotspot during this time. Nick then came out to give my car the lookover and assist. His recommendations and observations were fair and he took his time showing me things that needed to be done. However, his conversation was laced with insidious condescension. Recommendations included new tires. I advised that I would most likely get the tires form Walmart, because that would be more cost effective. But all other work (the work I actually scheduled the appointment for) could be done there. That was not received well, and met with sharp sarcasm. For reference, the quote just for tires & labor was about $750. Despite this encounter, I opted to move forward with service. Prior to my scheduled appointment, Nick did some research for parts and gave me a call to update me and offer suggestions. He advised against some work I wanted done due to the cost of the part(s) and the less than significant importance it would have on my vehicle's performance. Much appreciated, and I agreed not to move forward with that work. However, I advised that I would still like to have my AC serviced at Tim's and upon brake inspection - maybe that, too. It just so happened that I was at Walmart getting tires at the time of his call, and despite already letting him know that I would not likely get tires from Tim's - I confirmed that I would not need tires when I bought my car back in for my appointment. The conversation went left from there. He asked why I would want to get work done at different places. I replied with the obvious answer, which was cost. From there we had an interesting conversation and I did acknowledge his condescension during our call, to which he denied. After our call ended and weighing those experiences, I decided not to use Tim's. I have read the business's responses to web reviews, and am disappointed in their complacency with being below the mark of exhibiting a customer friendly approach.

I scheduled an appointment online which was easy. They emailed me the next morning and let me drop off my car. I was nervous because I was leaving for vacation and being a Woman we get trampled on by the car repair shops but I did not feel like that at all. They sent me pictures of what a part should look like compared to what mine looked like. They gave suggestions on what I should take care of at this point and a list of what could wait until another time. Also my repairs cost $3,000, I’m not sure who has that kind of cash laying around so they helped me apply for a care credit card with 6months interest free which helps so much. I will never take my care anywhere else. I just sad that I lived here for 3 years and just finding out about them.
