All I can say is very disappointing. Especially for an office is that supposed to be there to help people.

The people here try very hard to meet the needs and solve problems that participants come here with. There's are good, hard working people who engine the rules and assist people the best they can.

Medicaid....everyone’s greatest fear and dread, where do you begin and how to proceed? Well I can’t praise the Sullivan County Office for the Aging Medicaid Staff enough. I had unbelievable assistance, support and guidance from Mrs. DuBois and Mrs. Hopper. Mrs. DuBois kindly and gently supported me through each tedious step. Mrs Hopper’s uncanny, intelligent and savvy assistance pointed me to the correct legal avenues to solve complicated issues. I am deeply thankful for their help.

It usually take 7-10 days by mail. But I believe they could print one out for you. Just ask your case worker.

You actually can submit an application for Medicaid through the NYS of health website. You do not need to come to our office.

How could I get emergency food stamps

Must fill app and be eligible. Really not emergency its just a quicker process (5days instead of "up to 30 day wait"). If you have a real emergent situation, go to food pantries near you. Call 211 for a list.
