The dr was very knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. The visit seemed rushed. Not his fault. Lourdes/ ascension medicL are notorious for rushing the Dr's and making it feel like the patient is not the priority as much as getting people in and out the door.

Our family loved Doctor Patel. My husband and I began seeing him almost 20 years ago and because of our experience we asked he be the primary care physician for all 5 of our children as well. Our praise of him continues as he listens, empathizes, and works with the patient for solutions. Our extended family on both sides now also see him. I would recommend Dr Patel 100% because in some of our hardest times, he was there to help us navigate!

Dr. Patel is by far the best! He cares, listens, is thorough, and takes time to explain things. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

What are the symptoms of RSV?

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.
