We paid $180 for our puppy, and $30 of that was a spaying fee as he was too young at the time. We got it back when he got fixed at our vet
There are City, county, and state laws against violent acts of cruelty against domesticated animals and other laws that protect wildlife. Obviously there are exceptions when there is a threat involved but your deceased cat couldn't have threatened much more than a slug or rat. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. You could probably get another charge pushed for harassment for them putting YOUR dead cat on your property. They need counseling

Call Animal Control. The Humane Society can't do anything. At least Animal Control is part of a government agency. They'd have to be the ones to pick it up anyway
