Every shop has some patterns, including sure that are not MSQC patterns. The most catch-all store is the main MSQC store. But you will miss things I'd you don't go to each store. I would make a list of what your top priorities are and hit the stores in that order. Example: solids, floral, modern, notions, babies, etc

MSQC does ship to Australia. As for the cost, I'm not sure. I believe it is based on international rates. We actually have quite a few retreaters who come visit us from Australia.

Laying fabrics together helps you find the right ones for your quilt!

There are almost 3 yards of 42 inch wide fabric in a jellyroll. Divide that by the number of different fabrics you want to use. Example: 3 yds ÷ 6 fabrics = 1/2 yard of each color. You should get 7 strips from each 1/2 yard.

It is awesome to be there. Give yourself lots of time to shop. We went to a week long retreat there and everyday we visited all of the shops because you saw new things every day. One visit is not enough. Love it and the people.

That depends on how much smaller you need to go. If its just a little bit you can trace using your 1/4 inch ruler and then cut it down. If you need it reduced alot, I have had good luck using my paint program on my computer to reduce it to the neighborhood of where I need it. Hope this helps you with your project!

They have tons of different flannels. I've never had any of the ones I've worked with fray too badly until after I've washed them. Even then, the fraying isn't too bad.

Missouri Star has a "man cave" area (small store front) for men that has sofa/chairs, a TV, and pool table, etc.
