Don’t take your animals here. They don’t know what they are doing

So I’ve brought in two reptiles both were handled quite rough. my first is a gargoyle gecko who i was told they had someone who could help which was great since nobody else in the area does. he was handled quite rough to where now he’s afraid to be handled at all and jumps off when he use to never do that and apparently this was their first time seeing a gargoyle . My second is A leopard gecko. My Leo had never bitten anyone and is extremely calm and you could handle him however you wanted and he wouldn’t move. He was also handled rough to where he became stressed and he bit the vet. Now every time since he thrashes when you first pick him up when he never use to do that. I also was kinda confused when the vet said “if he is male” as you can clearly see my gecko is male due to his bulge and very obvious pores. Anyways I am a bit upset of the aftermath but nothing much I can do now just hope the vet decides to take it down a notch on how rough they are.

Dr. Schlager is a great veterinarian who is very compassionate, kind, and gentle with my fur baby Max. I think Dr. Schlager has a way with animals that makes them feel calm. He takes the time to talk about my fur baby instead of rushing us out the door and he fully explains everything. I am very happy and satisfied with Gladstone Animal Clinic and I would recommend it to everyone.

Dr. Schlager, the vet techs and office staff are all kind, patient and knowledgeable.

You need to make an appointment and when you get there. Call them & they will come to your car to get your pet. This is all due to COVID.
Are your animals Jehovah's witness too? I'm curious as to where the line is
just was there Tuesday, had no problems with phone system
Yes, we do overnight boarding for dogs, cats and exotic animals. Please call 816-436-1100 to scheduled your boarding reservation.
No, we do not provide veterinary services based on income. If you have questions, please call and we can give you a quote for needed services over the phone.
Not positive but I know they do check many exotics. They are amazing. Dr Rambo is wonderful.
My daughter works there, and said they might, just call up and talk to them.
I have been taking our dog to Gladstone Animal Clinic for many years. They have very reasonable rates for their services and have helped me in the past to keep costs down to a minimum while still providing excellent and thorough pet care. Please call their office and the wonderful staff there will assist you however they are able. All of the staff are friendly, professional and very understanding people. Pets are family members... and they treat our old doggie, Precious, as a VIP every time we go there! Best wishes to you, Steven! 😀🐶
Yes. There are two exotic doctors at the clinic that can spay and/or neuter rats.
As of 2018-03-27: Office visits are $50. Pharmaceutical and food prices vary but are competitive.
Yes, they are reasonably priced for all of their services. I would trust our elderly family dog, named Precious, with ANY of the vets and technicians at Gladstone Animal Clinic. The clinic has a family atmosphere where they take excellent care of your loved ones (pets). I highly recommend Gladstone Animal Clinic! You may want to give them a call and they will provide you a "ballpark" figure of the estimated costs of treatment. I believe they may have financial arrangements, but I am not sure. Best wishes!
