Hi Gloria – Thanks for reaching out! More than 82% of the groceries distributed by the Food Bank are donated by local food manufacturers and retailers. Additionally, we do not distribute food to individuals at our South Suburban Center, and the 800 food pantries, soup kitchens and other feeding sites in our network do not charge clients for the food they distribute.
