Bathroom floor appeared dirtying leaving room feeling very dirty. Very small bathroom sink with very little space. Wafer thin walls could hear every sound. Would not recommend

Breakfast has a funny man that is well liked. Slept on floor by choice during both stays — very comfortable — which is a plus.

Very friendly staff. Reasonably clean, but not as clean as it should be. Showing age with torn carpet in hallway and peeling wallpaper in room. Free continental breakfast. Slept well. I'd return again.

All in all, I was frustrated by my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Champaign. Check-in was seamless, the cost wasn't great (but I bit my tongue, knowing it was a peak weekend in Champaign-Urbana), but... our room was filthy. The bathroom counter was strewn with residue. The mirror was streaky and covered in water stains. The fridge was leaking. The shower curtain had dark stains on it (we know what that means.. yikes). There were weird orange stains on the bedding. The sink was clogged and took hours to drain. The nightstand had long human hairs all over it. Ultimately, we only used the room for sleep; I didn't feel emboldened to surface these issues in the moment. But I was definitely let down. On a more positive note: The front desk staff was lovely.
