This year was rough in so many ways and I hadn't had my haircut since Aril (I just went to Domi two weeks ago in December) and I haven't had my color or highlights updated for at least a year before that. I could not afford "Manhattan prices" in the city, or in Hoboken, or in most of JC. I live in the Heights and decided to take on chance on Domi because of all the wonderful reviews. They did an amazing job! And so, so affordable. There was not one surprise paying at the end (sometimes or even most of the time salons get you with charging extra for toner, extra for drying your hair, women know this). Most of the salon on the day I went was Spanish speaking, but if you live in this area you know more Spanish than you think! No reason not to go give them a try! I called first and the receptionist told me someone's son would call me back in about ten minutes & he did. He didn't know exactly what I was talking about because of being a boy, not a hairstylist lol, but we got the basic message through & they said they could see me that day! Cut and color were beautiful, my new hairstylist was such a nice woman and I will definitely be back! Everyone was so nice! My new stylist "matched" my old highlights exactly; it was jaw-dropping. They are so talented. Don't let not being perfectly fluent in Spanish keep you from trying this place-- it's right here in the Heights and you & they will make it work! Domi is amazing and beyond fair in pricing, too, this is a great salon!
