We had a wonderful experience at Tandy leather. I recently got into making knives and desperately needed sheaths for them. I decided to make my own and didn't know anything about it. Jonny was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything I needed. He never tried sticking me with stuff I didn't need and never tried to upsell anything, just the things I needed. They sale black dye for veg tan leather, yes it could be used for that, but it will need super shene after it dries
