Really beautiful place with a huge beach to hang out on. The road to the parking area is very rough. You definitely need a high clearance vehicle, my 4runner did fine. There is one spot that will complete bottom out your vehicle. If you don't have 4wd use your best judgment. It's not in an easy spot to get to.

Hiked here the day before the snowstorm. The hike itself isn’t bad at all and clearly marked. Driving to the trailhead is a bit daunting so I’d suggest an SUV to get over the craters. Overall it was a beautiful hike with an awesome waterfall. I see the other reviews complain of crowds but due to the weather and inability to swim, it was just us.

Beautiful falls. Not a bad hike to. Crowds quickly.

It was too chilly for swimming last weekend. The dogs enjoyed it. A picnic would mmbe nice though.
You know, I really don't know.
There are parking but it's not like parking spots it's a dirt road and just pull up on the side of the road however if you have four wheel drive you can drive down to the bottom and there's a few spots down there
No. Just be prepared to hike and carry all of your stuff. No trash cans or restrooms, so be sure to be prepared for that as well.
The water next to the river side is great for wading. Perfectly safe within reason.
Off the main road to get there. You can drive onto the access road to the trail but I wouldn't go too far without a 4x4. It's a long walk so bring plenty of water.
Yeah, you can park there for two days. Make sure you have 4wd unless you're confident in your tires. Great for dispersal camping.
Heads up driving there I'd park where the gravel road ends if you do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle very bad driving conditions and the place where the vehicle barrier is a very steep and rough entrance road not safe for low riding or 2 wheel drive vehicle
The hike from the final car parking area to the falls is 0.6 miles and is fairly easy.
Its a good hike, absolutely take water and where good shoes of course. Even if you have four wheel drive, you cannot drive very far. You must walk. If you have any health conditions keep that in mind.
