Great place for produce. Most of their generic brands are as good as name brand.

The only issue I have with this Aldi is that it doesn't sell alcohol like some other Aldi locations do - otherwise, this location is fantastic.

I live within walking distance so I stop in several times a month. The fall bagels this year include Harvest and Pumpkin. The former, with it's cranberries and seeds, gives a nice texture to the bagels, well superior to the later. Deserts are often well done and come in a variety. I've had no problems with the fruit I've been up including the sliced watermelon. Biggest problem with the store is they always need more cashiers. Some are also outraged at the quarter cost to use the carts. Bring your own bags or as in everyplace at least in Chicago proper, be prepared to pay. If you've avoided Aldi in the past you should check it out.

I ask myself that same question,go to the one on montrose close to western they have alcohol.

A flier from there says it will reopen in July, no exact date.

The ALDI that's that's on Pulaski and Wrightwood. They sell protein powder blend which has 30 grams of protein in it I got the vanilla one but I believe they also have chocolate to. It's going to be on your left hand side when you walk about 20 2 30 ft into the store.
I don't work at Aldi. I guess all you do is stop by that location and see if they can give you a job application. I'd recommend that. I hear they pay pretty well and you get a lot of good benefits.
