If I could put more than 5 stars I would, this place was beautiful and affordable. They have tours for 5 dollars per person and it's well worth it. The tours require closed toe shoes keep in mind. Overall this experience was out of this world and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. The employees are very helpful and kind. It is worth the trip.

This was a wonderful outing. We live about 1 hour away, so it was a manageable drive. We went on the tour. $5.00 per person, but well worth it. We saw all the greenhouses and even saw the owner's private plants. We also purchased 5 plants and pots and a bag of growing medium with a bag of additional fertilizer. I love orchids and have been growing them for years, but this display of colors, shapes, sizes, and forms was completely mind boggling. I heartily recommend the trek out.

This place is one of my favorite places to go it's so outrageously beautiful and the people are so nice if you don't know what it is it's where they grow orchids and other carnivorous plants anybody wanting to find out should go to this it's worth your time

Hi Theresa, Crown rot tends to happen when water pools around the base of the leaves or in the top middle of the leaves. When watering, water the base and make sure the water doesn’t pool on the plant. Air flow is also important to help prevent crown rot.
They are supposed to fall off. Mine fell off too. They will grow back.
With proper light and care they do rebloom most tend to bloom once a year
Lowe's sells one made by miracle grow specifically for orchids. Or you can order it from there online with a few other options. You'll need very little as orchids are best soaked for about 5 mins in water once a week and kept in a well draining medium that will keep them moist. NEVER let them sit in water for longer then a few hours as they will rot. This is why some will use a couple of ice cubes once a week (keep away from plant and roots, it can hurt them to get that cold) the rate of melt at to temp is just about right depending on the size of the plant.
