We dine in and service was good. Food was good too. We ordered some to take out and when we got home, food was not to our expectations. The chicken vaca frita was just a chicken steak a little toasted on top but not shredded. Called the restaurant and talked to Martin the manager, he told me he was going to redo the order and send it to my house, well, he didn't, he changed his mind and then he didn't even answered my texts or phone call. I feel sorry for the owner of the restaurant. There are too many Cuban restaurants in Miami to go back to El Rinconcito. Martin, you didn't keep your word.

It is not part of the service to help a client, especially when he comes with a child and has a child vomiting event. Nobody came to help the mother, she had to clean the table, nobody came to clean the area around her, my question, there is no employee in that place, no waiter can come to offer help, we were customers for a long time , even the child too. Human Misery!!!

Vaca frita was dry . Arroz con pollo was adequate. What to order: crema de vegetal soup and fried rice.

El Rinconcito on Bird Road and SW 104th Avenue is clean and provides very good authentic Cuban food and service. Many of my relatives and friends eat there frequently and recommend it regularly. We ate there recently and were very impressed. The only disappointment was the bread. It was not warm enough and nothing other than butter was available to put on it. I think the traditional Cuban bread served warm/hot with garlic and melted butter would be better. The price was very reasonable.
