I used to LOVE Best Buy. It was my go-to place for 20 years. The last few years I've completely avoided them (unless I was in dire straights with a customer and needed something that day) as every time I've gone there I've had issues. As others have said, customer service is completely gone here. Never mind their 15 day return policy...seriously, who even does that? Answer, NO ONE. That's how out of touch with reality they are. They're on a slow burn to the ground like Circuit City, Media Play etc. I had one such incident recently where a customer needed a hard drive for the security system, just to limp by while another one was ordered. I purchased what I thought was a 1TB drive, but no where on the box did it indicate it's size. Once I opened and put it in the system we found it was half the size. BestBuy would not accept the return since it was opened (but i had no way of knowing the size) and it was over 15 days later. What a absolute joke. Will never step foot in this place again. Rude "managers" and out of touch policies. Enjoy slowly going out of business guys...

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at Best Buy. Purchased online with in-store pickup. What a nightmare. My husband went in for pickup, but didn't have a cellphone with email to show them so they refused him service even though he had a photo ID. I had to then drive across town again with my cellphone so that I had email proof and they were rude again, but I was able to get the item my husband purchased.

Best Buy is always pretty great. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and the store almost always has what I need. They answer all my questions and helped me with everything I needed. I got a sub and amp installed there and the guy finished in the time he said he would, he was super friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and installed it very professionally. He made sure what I bought would be what I want and even sold me on the TotalTech membership for only $50 more. Will be coming back soon to get more installed in my car.

The level of customer service has gone completely downhill. I found a refrigerator online that I was interested in and couldn't find it on display in the store so I asked an associate for help. The refrigerator was around $2,000. He pulled out his phone and told me they didn't have anything under $3,500. He was no help whatsoever. I had the measurements and he was trying to sell me one that wouldn't even fit. My days shopping at Best Buy are over.

Because they send to a National call desk. Terrible. If I’m calling local, let me speak to the local people. Your wasting my time on hold only to transfer me back to the store in originally called. Your second worst only to Comcast!

Yes they do! I just had a few things installed in February 2020.

My experience with Rivertown is excellent. They are short staffed and if there are a lot of in store customers they do have to handle in order.
Retailers can get quite busy at times. Most stores have cut their staffing levels to the bare minimum. Not making excuses because customer service should still be first and foremost. I've had luck emailing the stores to get answers on questions I've had

There is a tone of support at this location, or on sites like youtube. Also, if you would like assistance from a forum, you would have to tell us what "it" is.
