Quick and easy, extremely nice and polite staff. I never leave reviews for anything but I felt obligated after this visit. From the guys that unloaded my truck to the lady in the office. The level of manners and respect makes you feel like they genuinely want and care about your business. I've been to at least 4 other scrap yards in southeast missouri on multiple occasions, but this is the only one I will go to from here on out. Great job guys!!

In and out. Great staff. They were busy but quite efficient. Definitely don't act like they're the only ones around that you could go and take your scrap too. Was impressed.

What is the price on tin and metal
$25/ton for steel not sure on cans probably 40-50 cents a lb. I can check tomorrow if ud like.
No, we do not sell anything.
You would need to call with the VIN number and vehicle make/model. They check for liens, and if there are none you can sell it to them on a scrap metal operators bill of sale. You need a current photo ID to do this, and the car needs to be at least 10 years old as well.
Depends on the type of copper you have.
CMR would be able to take those if they are the small ones that come from a party supply or grocery type store. They're generally around a foot and a half tall and maybe a foot wide. They should also be empty. For industrial/commercial tanks we'd have to have the valve out.
They are strictly a metal recycler, so if they were aluminum or steel bottles they would be able to accept and pay for those, but if they are plastic or glass they are unable to accept those.
Converters are currently bought by the pound, and current prices can be found at capemetalrecyclers.com
Last week it was 20 cents a pound. They will be closed til the 17th though.
Since prices change we generally don't post them so that incorrect information isn't floating around. You can call or message the facebook page

No sir, this is a private business. You'll want to call the City of Cape Girardeau, probably the public works department.
Yes
