I took the class yesterday and it was simply great!!! Jim is incredibly knowledgeable, even more important, he is GREAT at teaching what he knows! I decided to take the class since I want to get my concealed permit. I have shot a little in the past and knew a decent amount about gun safety, and I was simply blown away by how much more Jim taught me. If you are thinking about getting a gun, just got a gun, or have owned a gun for a while, regardless of whether you are thinking about getting a concealed permit or not, this class by license2carry will be great!!!

The firearm training certificate does not expire.
The state of Florida requires everyone applying for a Florida concealed weapon or firearm license to first attend a firearm safety and training course and get certified. The certification you’ll receive upon successfully completing the firearm safety and training class will later be submitted to the state via a personal meeting where you’ll fill out your concealed weapon or firearm license, you be be fingerprinted and your passport photos will be taken. After applying for your concealed weapon or firearm license, it’ll take approximately 6-8 weeks for your license to arrive in the mail.

At our facility. we conduct firearm training to include the firearm training course required by the state of Florida to apply for a Florida concealed weapon or firearm license. However we do not offer the processing of Florida concealed weapon or firearm license applications. Wayne, thanks for inquiring about our concealed weapon class. We offer the class 7 days a week, this makes it convenient to attend on a day that best works for you. We start the class everyday at 9:00 am and we’re typically done with everything for the class at about 1:00 pm. Approximately 4 hours to get everything done. Jerry, thanks for inquiring. Depending on the certification you initially received to apply for your license, you may be able to simply use it to reapply for a Florida license. If the state will not accept the initial certification, you’re welcome to attend our class to obtain a new one that Florida will accept.
