Through the website listing of approved contractors at Cracker Boy I hired John Williams of Williams Marine Service to change out all of the old Sea water hoses on a '99 Island Packet. Due to arriving late I was not able to double check the work performed by Williams Marine before launch but trusted they did their job thoroughly and professionally. During our first day of transit to Texas our boat nearly sunk about a mile offshore from West Palm Beach. Williams Marine had failed to tighten two hose clamps on the Sea Water exhaust at the anti-siphon vent and water was pumping into the bilge with the engine running. After we arrived to our destination I discovered the primary Sea water intake between the seacock and the strainer had also not been replaced. I have contacted Williams Marine about this issue and sent pictures but they have not responded. Cracker Boy was notified and I received no response from them either. Really poor service and follow up to a very serious issue. There are other marine service centers out there who care about their reputation and the safety of their customers, I would recommend you find one of those as Williams Marines lack of professionalism could have cost us our lives.

This place is awesome.. Randy, the yard Manager is super accommodating.. Alan & Ben fiberglass guyz are Great..there is nothing they can't find. Linda fiberglass too is super nice. The ladies in the office are very pleasant and if you have a dog they will give them good treats..Miko loved them so much he would sneak away to visit them for some cold ac and snacks. PJ the detail guy is amazing, the even came on the boat on the weekend to ensure work would be done. Thank you Cracker boy for allowing DIYers to help in the process of fixing ones boat. FIDO
