I realize that there are a lot of homeless in the area, and people must be aware. But as a manager from a store. Not in this area, management can not treat people as if they are undesirables. Frequent customers that are good customers that visit that store should be treated with respect. May I suggest some training for your managers. It's unfair and unprofessional the way they treat people depending on the mood or the way they personally judge an indicidual.

The local Ventura Big lots has lots of good buys and lots of random ones too. The store itself is typical for a Big Lots with its kinda ransacked vibe but decently clean inside. The items are hit and miss as far as you get something you like and when you come back again you may never see that item there ever again. They have good offers and some nice credit options with pay plans as well. Staff is pretty helpful here for the most part. Outside the store can be strange with some shady hanging around doing weird things. Overall this store is nice and worth shopping in, come check it out.
