Great place to camp I'm sure, but we used it as a put out spot when tubing down the Saco from Swan Falls Campground. With stops it was about a 5 hour tube ride. Best day of our whole vacation.

Really liked this campground, nice wooded sites, clean restrooms, and showers too. Fantastic beach on Saco River, loads of sand a great place to play.

This place was horrible. We got a site for the weekend because we had a wedding in the same town. When we got there the guy over charged us for the site and when it was brought to his attention he gave us attitude and was very rude even …YOU overbooked your own reservation. I happily refunded your money in cash when it should have went on your credit card. YOU and your group were extremely rude to the staff. Also swearing at staff is not tolerated. YOU and your group also took another campers picnic table. All sites have one picnic table per campsite. After Leaving I noticed your group had five tables to four sites. Your group also left fires going in the fire Pitts. YOU and your group are not welcome back. Have a nice day and drive safe.

We van camp... pretty much self contained and bring water. Van has a auxiliary battery for lights. Awesome overnight stay last Tuesday night, beautiful night. Calm breeze and stars !
Call a day or two before planning to go. They don't return calls right away, especially during peak hours. Reservations are recommended for parking if tubing.

It doesn't dry out completely. It gets lower around this month, so a little harder to tube. But with all the rain we've gotten so far maybe a couple more weekends ahead!!
