I reserved a queen bed with a sofa in the room when I checked in the lady said I got a upgrade and $31 off of my bill I do not believe I got any kind of upgrade because my room had a queen bed I lost the sofa and wound up with a bunk bed that was full over twin was not happy about that room not being what I reserved

Our room was clean and the motel was quiet. Nice staff and the breakfast was basic but good for the price. It’s very conveniently located within a 5 minute drive to Sunday River. We will stay here again!

The Rostay is like a home away from home. Our first time there was in 2019, when we all walked into the office, it felt like being welcomed by family. Our Second time there, they remembered our names! The rooms are nice & clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of soap, towels, and hot water. EVEN extra towels to wipe the bikes down in the morning. We very much enjoy sitting out on the porch with our coffee in the morning, and sitting by the firepit out back in the evening. The breakfast is a wonderful home cooked meal, within a few steps from your room. In our travels to Maine, we now always stay at the Rostay. We've met a lot of great people there, some have become lasting friendships.
