The crew AMAZING! The trip was everything I expected except I don't like getting kicked out the hotel at 1 that was late check out and the ferry didn't come till 8. I think you guys should coordinate something better. Either coming sooner or giving or late check out should at least be at 3. Besides that it was fun 5 STARS FOR THE CREW GIVE THEM ALL RAISES

We really want to go but these reviews have us scared and are keeping us from going. People saying you kept their luggage 😳😳 that's the worse part. Being on an island for days with no luggage and being treated bad isn't cool.
Fabulous D
I had a great experience on my day trip using Balearia. After reading reviews, I expected the worst; however, the trip was quite pleasurable. Staff were cool at check-in & on the boat, the outlets that were lit worked in the Premium section. I think its worth paying extra for Premium because the reclining seats have so much more space plus tables & the snack they provide is half a sandwich, a little veggies & fruit, dip, 2 desserts & a drink. I kept a smile on my face when engaging with the staff and they didnt hesistate to smile back. The boat did have complications, but they provided water & transportation back to the Casino. I didn't even think of the casino, but I'm glad they took us there bc the food & drinks were really good.

I'm Romanian, i live in London and i travelled to Bahamas with a USA visa. So its fine.
No Seafood is allowed back into the USA from the Bahamas.
Yes but it can NOT BE OPEN. Also go down to the $2Bar, or Two Dollar Bar they have great food priced great. Ask for Perry.
I mean if i have USA visa i supose have bahamas visa to go or can i go with only USA visa
Whatever you do, try not to sit close to the doors people use to go out to smoke. The area is always hot and the smell of the exhaust is overwhelming
No test needed to return to usa when on ferry.. you'll need covid rapid if Vax to enter Bahamas. And complete Bahamas travel visa online which is easy within 3 days of arrival. Check their balaeria site specific to Bimini fort Lauderdale. I believe the travel at least every Wednesday but might be fri and or Sunday too.
Wow, it sounds like you have done everything you could. But I would keep calling.
Resorts World Bimini
You do not need to be vaccinated, you need to have a recent test to show Bahamian authorities when applying for the necessary health visa.(they will ask of you've tested, your result, and then to upload the document). Hope that was helpful.
Hello Latasha, If it's for the Health Visa write Jaume II
We travel to Grand Bahama Thursdays. Starting February 28 we will also travel Sundays.
Hello Rochelle, Yes you can take a car. Please call our Vehicle Transportation Department at (954) 892-6582 Ext. 113. they will help you out with all the information you will need.
Yes
I have to check their website for travel timings
I called customs but I don't have the number anymore.
Yes
Otherwise $50 is what it cost to change dates
Agreed!
Sea sickness can be an issue, the boat in traveling to the Bahamas can be a rough bouncy ride, this may not be ideal for a person whom isn't use it.
You have to talk to the tour staff.
No anymore. You need the passport
Every day, i think so. But have a look at the website.
You need a passport they wont accept a passport card
It shouldn't be a problem but may prove cumbersome.
Depends on what your needs are. They have car storage on the ship. Or there us a parking garage close by.
1800 SE 18th St, Fort Lauderdale.
Yes you need ur passport it's the # 1 requirement
We stayed for seven days but our trip only cost $49.00 because we listen to a time share seminar. I all depend on the size of the room and right now it's cheap because of the slow season and a lot of people are out of work. The biggest hotel closed down because of hurricane Matthew. I suggest going in the middle of the week because you don't want to miss the Tuesday or Wednesday night Seafood cookout down the street from the resort, the cost for a taxi is $3.00 a person but we walked, not that smart because we were chased by a dog but it was fun seeing my wife use her purse like a baseball bat.
Just before turning right to the terminal there is a parking lot on the right side and there is no shortage of parking
Call them or try seacorp
a
You can't. Balearia offer only transfer from FFL to Freeport.
Passport❣❣ to go anywhere outside the United States.
I think so but you have to pay for them
Now you will need a passport Immigration Aboard the ship.
No its passenger only
I doubt you can
Make sure she takes Dramamine if they are still sailing
It's $79 + $18 international tax for per person. They always have deals on Groupon or on the website. Also you have to pay for parking at the port in Florida. If you wanna do any extra things while you're there you will have to pay. However, you can purchase it on the ferry or on their website
Birth certificate and ID card is permitted. It is quicker to travel with a passport.
Just a id and birth certificate if your coming back the same day. If staying over night you will need a passport
If you are going on a one day excursion you only need a ID and Birth Certificate. But if you are staying overnight you'll need a passport.
No weight restriction in my vast experience. Its better to have 1 BIG BOX than 3 little ones. $25 vs. $75.
Yep. I have done it twice. Have a state issued photo ID with you as well. make sure it is the state certified birth certificate and not one from a hospital or other non-certified origins
A bin is a secure place for your shopping items, a pallet is a wood platform that you can stack boxes or other heavy duty items for shipment.
Thank you, so I can book a one way each way or do I need to get the round trip and choose my return date?
No you can't a few years ago you could have changed policy by be the u.s. government
The ship offer shipping container two sizes you can put as you wish the best day before you sail contact them for the price of the containers
Don't know.
No but you have a number and size limit. Check it on there website. If you have more luggage there will be a cost
The ship leaves Fort Lauderdale, not Miami. Excursions can be hired on the ship on the same day.
I upgraded to First Class when I bought my tickets. But I know you can do it afterwards as well. Definitely worth the extra $20.
It depends on how long you will be there. Starts around $12 depending on your vehicle
Baleria travels up to four times a week depending on the season. For the most part it is every other day
Your question should be directed to someone on the Balearia Caribbean website
