Great park, well maintained and clean. Only slight negative is that there was not enough shaded areas which we needed for young children and the lack of shade limited the time we could spend there.

This park is a GREAT place to take your family. I mean, you can bring your spouse and kids and dogs, OR, you can bring your extended family reunion here, wedding receptions, (it's clean), quinceaneras, whatever! It's HUGE! Plenty of tables and pavilion space, at least one playground, and facilities for water and restroom use. There is a big parking lot too, so it can accommodate a decent size gathering.

There are two pavilions. One that can be reserved for a fee and the other that cannot and is smaller. Here is the site. It appears to be $75.00. https://www.activityreg.com/selectfacility_t2.wcs https://www.activityreg.com/clientpage_t2.wcs?clientid=SLCMAIN&siteid=24

Dean Winkler | Sep 25, 2019

I do believe it is in the master plan. Don't remember what phase though. Here is the list of master plans. It will have a splash pad, between the existing playground and pavilion. https://slco.org/parks-recreation/planning/master-plans/

Technically phase 2 and 3 have already completed. Phase 4 is the additional soccer field and more parking. It is still being designed.

When will they start the splash pad? I thought it was being started but now the city is laying sod. We were supposed to have one just like the splash pad in Bluffdale!
