My boyfriend and I went here on Sunday which they seemed extremely busy and staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, doing their absolute best not to show it (we all know how hard that can be) But we were waited on almost immediately by our waitress Natalia. She was very kind and very patient as we both had a hard time reading the menu. She explained everything on there and all of her suggestions sounded mouth watering I wanted to get everything! I got the fudge royal and my boyfriend got the mintmello. Absolutely AMAZING! Thank you Kiltie. And a special THANK YOU to Natalia for showing us there are still kind and patient people out there.

The burgers & cheese curds are on the salty side. But the double cheeseburger was really good. The onion rings were exceptional. The kids sundays are the perfect size. The chocolate malt was perfectly malty. The three servers were nonstop taking care of the large weekend lunch crowd & did a great job.

Burger was good the fries awesome with a large amount and she strawberry malts was awesome nice pieces of strawberry that couldn't make it thru the straw. Service was great enjoyed not having to get out of the car and got to watch the birds playing. Always a pleasure. Just remember to take cash.

Sorry about that! We are trying to get this fixed so we don't have this issue anymore! When we are open, the flags will be up, and our social media (Google and Facebook) will have posts confirming we are open for the season --but not yet! We have a few more things to take care of! Thank you for your patience!!

Is kiltie custard gluten free?

penny menster | Feb 9, 2020
Kiltie Drive-In (Owner) | Feb 10, 2020

The custard itself does not contain wheat. Custard contains Dairy, eggs, sugar, and other products, but no wheat/grain byproducts. Formally Custard is gluten free, but could be made in a facility that makes other products with gluten. Our restaurant hosts many items including regular cones that have gluten, but if you order vanilla in a dish, and inform the car hop you have a gluten allergy, we can do our best to serve you custard without any gluten contaminants! BUT we do make food with gluten products, and there is always a chance for cross contamination. We also serve Dole whip which is a dairy free alternative on occasion for weekends (which you can call ahead or see our social media for that as well)
