I thought he was very knowledgeable about the items I brought in. He said one of the dolls I brought in was from the 70s but it was from the 50s, not not that makes a huge difference I think. He paid me $135 for a set of a pearl necklace, pearl bracelet, pearl earrings, some gold and silver chains which looking back, I feel like i should have gotten those appraised at a jewler after to ensure I was paid fairly because I think it was worth way more. He checked every piece of jewelry I brought in though, to see if it was worth anything and he explained things to me as he went through.

Lies! I inquired about a painting and the artist. The gentleman working said the artist was local and was a man named Glen Rollins (he actually spelled his name for me and went on about the timing of the painting and that he was a local artist) Come to find out, Glen is the owner of the antique store. The signature on the bottom looks nothing like Glen Rollins. I can’t figure out what he had to gain from lying to me. I am close enough to be a return customer but now I’ll never go back. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Shame on me for being so trusting.

Wow, not only did this place have some of your usual antique store things it also had a giant Big Bird! As I walked through the store I couldn’t help myself from being weirded out by everything. I saw a French taxidermied dog, a real human skull, a strange pod with a human body inside it (that one gave me weird vibes), a whole lot of creepy dolls, and I even got to see a real life crystal ball. I’d have to go back there a couple more times to even see everything.
